Thank you to Jessica and Mike Ponce for the beautiful Willow Tree that is now
installed in our One World Classroom and created by their artist friend. If you haven't seen it yet, you are in for a treat! It's made completely of paper and creates a beautiful space for students to read, write, and dream.
The 1st Annual LAB TALENT SHOW AND WINTER FESTIVAL -Dec 13th
There is one place to be in Long Beach on DECEMBER 13TH and that is The Lab. Come see our talented students sing, play original songs, paint, work magic with a basketball and more! We need volunteers to help with the event. If you are able to help please contact Event Chairperson, Jessica Ponce.
UPDATE ON THE TEACHER SEARCH for K-3rd
The search committee has been hard at work interviewing candidates and observing the finalists guest teach for a morning. We've had some wonderfully talented applicants and hope to have some good news to share with you by early next week.
JOIN THE "After-Lab" EXTENDED DAY Program
Did you know that The Lab provides an extended-day option for students TK-8th grade? M-Th 3-4:30, Fr 1-2:30 Students can work on homeschool curricula,
participate in art projects, and hang-out with friends. Yesterday students were completely intrigued with learning cursive writing! Cost: $16/day. Drop-in or monthly subscription.
DON'T FORGET to bring a disaster preparedness kit for your child
